BOARD & TRAIN PROGRAM

This program consists of an intensive 2-4 week training program, where your dog will stay at the trainer's home. The trainer will work closely with your dog not only building a positive and motivating relationship but also teaching several obedience commands and general manners. Once initial obedience is established, your dog will go on daily field trips to a variety of locations to help generalize their training.

All aggressive cases such as behavior modifications, and human or dog reactivity will require an evaluation. Pricing and length of stay will be determined at the evaluation. Please call and discuss any of these behaviors.

TRAINING COMMANDS

Sit & Stay 
Sit has an implied stay. Once your dog is in the sitting position, they are expected to stay until you say free. 

 

Down

 Down has an implied stay.  Once your dog is in the down position, they are expected to stay until you say free. 

 

Climb
Climb is when your dog gets onto a raised surface, such as a pet bed, and stays there until you say free! 
 

Heel
Heel is when your dog walks on a loose leash on your left or right side.

 

Wait
Wait is utilized to wait in a kennel, at a doorway,  or to eat food until given a release command.

 

Recall
Recall means to come when called.

During your dogs stay at the trainers home, you will receive daily updates on their progress through pictures and videos. At the end of the board and train program, you receive several follow up lessons where the trainer works with you to teach you everything your dog learned during their stay. 

LIFETIME GUARANTEE

Upon completion of the board and train program, the owners and their dog will receive lifetime support from the trainer. This allows the owners to continue to work with their dogs to maintain the training, and have additional help if any new issues arise.

All dogs must complete an evaluation before any program to help us determine your dog's needs.
